Almost all of the Steel Smith toggle clamps are given model numbers as per their characteristics in terms of outer dimensions. The Toggle Clamp is given a model number as per (A + B) i.e. (A) denoting the height of the clamping arm from the clamps base and (B) denoting the width of the clamping arm from the base to the center of the spindle. Incase of Straight Line Action (A) denotes the clamping height & (B) denotes the plunger travel.
